Terms of Emergency Safe Opener

Digital Safe Incorporated (DSI) provides you with assistance in opening your DSI electronic safe when you have misplaced or lost the back-up entry key. The entry into your locked DSI safe is accomplished by means of an electronic safe opener. The electronic safe opener provides power and activates your safe’s keypad. A DSI Service representative will guide you through the entry on your safe’s keypad of a series of code numbers to complete your access to your DSI electronic safe.

LOST KEY ASSISTANCE in 5 easy steps

• STEP #1 - ORDER THE ELECTRONIC SAFE OPENING DEVICE ON THIS WEB SITE.
• STEP #2 - Plug the ELECTRONIC SAFE OPENING DEVICE into the DSI safe telephone jack below the keypad that is on the face of your DSI safe.
• STEP #3 - Call DSI at 800-566-3122. The DSI service representative will give you a series of numeric codes to enter into key pad that will allow you to open your DSI safe.
• STEP #4 - Continue to Use your DSI electronic safe as you did previously.
• STEP #5 RETURN THE DSL electronic safe opener to DSI by prepaid shipping no later than the third day after you receive it.

$350.00 - RENTAL & DEPOSIT FEE will be charged to your credit card by DSI.

$250.00 - RENTAL FEE INCLUDES:

• Rental of the electronic safe opening device for 2 days (Saturdays and Sundays included) if the safe opening device is not shipped on the 3rd day (Saturdays and Sundays included) after you receive it an additional fee of $50.00 per day (Saturdays and Sundays included) will be charged. If the return shipment of the electronic tracking device is not trackable through fed-ex web site tracking or US Postal Service tracking, there is a $50.00 per day rental fee charged until the safe opening device is received. This rental fee will be applied to your credit card.

$100.00 - REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT FEE:
Note: The safe opening device is a proprietary, valuable, and delicate piece of electronic equipment and must be returned promptly and in working condition.

$100.00 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT FEE - will be refunded to you when:
You ship the safe opening device to DSI not later than the 3rd day after you receive it (Saturdays and Sundays included)

The safe opening device is returned in the box in which you received it.

The return box is labeled with the DSI supplied return label and packed with the bubble wrap just as you received it.

NOTE: The electronic safe opening device can be returned by simply dropping off the package at any FED-EX location or US Post Office (depending on how the package was mailed).

THIS DOES NOT REPLACE YOUR BACK-UP ENTRY KEY
Your key is a unique key and is not replaceable by DSI. You received a key with the delivery and installation of your safe. If you do not locate your back-up entry key and again forget your entry code (or allow the batteries to completely discharge) you will again be locked out of your safe. Replacement lock and keys can be purchased from this site.

OVERNIGHT SHIPPING FEE:
If you choose overnight shipping of the electronic safe opening device, you will be charged an overnight shipping fee for the amount of $500.00, of which $150.00 is refundable upon return of the safe opening device.

$650.00 LOST DEVICE CHARGE: If you do not return the safe opening device there is an additional $650.00 charge for the instrument, which will be applied to your credit card. This charge will occur if the device is not returned within 8 days of shipment to you. This lost device charge is non-refundable.

Acceptance of the above terms and conditions is required prior to shipment of the safe opening device to you. We look forward to helping you open your safe.
